FabFilter Saturn 2

FabFilter Saturn 2 is a versatile saturation and distortion plugin offering up to 28 saturation styles, ranging from the warmth of analog tape to aggressive modern distortions. Its multiband design allows the signal to be split into up to six bands, providing exceptional flexibility to apply different saturation types and effects to specific frequency ranges. Each band can be modulated using LFOs, envelopes, or even MIDI, enabling the creation of rich, dynamic textures that respond to musical performance. Saturn 2 also features oversampling up to 32x, minimizing aliasing and ensuring superior audio quality.

The FabFilter Saturn 2 interface is intuitive and highly visual, allowing users to view and adjust saturation and distortion curves in real time. Advanced controls, such as processed signal blending and envelope followers for each band, make it easy to create dynamic and complex effects. Additionally, it supports Mid/Side processing, enabling selective application of saturation to either the center or the sides of a mix.
