The Shape 40 is the ideal solution for ultra-nearfield monitoring. Usable from a listening distance of just 60 cm, these monitors impress with their bass frequency extension. Whether for rooms smaller than 10 m², installations, or where compactness is the main priority, the Shape 40 is the perfect choice.
N.I.C. (Neutral Inductance Circuit): Controlling the magnetic field is crucial to avoiding harmonic and intermodulation distortions. Focal has developed a remarkably stable magnetic circuit to address this challenge.
TMD Suspension: This innovation linearizes the frequency response curve between 1 and 2 kHz, significantly reducing distortion in this range.
Dual Passive Radiators: These ensure stability in low frequencies, providing the Shape series reference monitors with extended bass response that surpasses expectations for nearfield monitors.
