The Shape 65 is the 6.5" model in the Shape series, delivering Focal's high-quality reference monitoring to your studio, editing suite, composition workstation, or any other application where space may be limited, but precise monitoring is essential. Featuring a cutting-edge flax sandwich cone, an M-shaped inverted dome driver, innovative acoustics, and optimized electronics, this speaker provides exceptional linearity and distortion-free performance, offering clear midrange intelligibility and precise imaging. Thanks to its dual passive radiator design, the Shape 65 can be comfortably positioned near walls while delivering extended low-end response that remains tight, controlled, and accurate.
N.I.C. (Neutral Inductance Circuit): Controlling the magnetic field is key to minimizing harmonic and intermodulation distortions. Focal has developed a highly stable magnetic circuit to achieve this.
TMD Suspension: This feature linearizes the frequency response curve between 1 and 2 kHz, significantly reducing distortion in this critical range.
Dual Passive Radiators: These ensure low-frequency stability, giving the Shape series reference monitors an extended bass response that far exceeds expectations for nearfield monitors.
