Focal SUB6

The Sub6 is equipped with an 11" (27 cm) "W" composite sandwich membrane subwoofer, integrated into a rear-ventilated enclosure with wide laminar airflow. This design ensures bass linearity at any desired SPL level. For tuning the subwoofer's power output, Focal engineers have incorporated BASH® technology. This solution is the only one that offers class AB sound quality with the performance of class D amplifiers.
The Sub6 features numerous adjustments, such as a stereo high-pass filter (75 Hz - 100 Hz) specifically for the left and right speakers, an adjustable low-pass filter with mono order, a phase inverter, adjustable phase, and even a MUTE switch. Its rich connectivity options also allow it to be used in 2.1, 2.2, and multi-channel setups, with L/R inputs and outputs, as well as an LFE input.
The Sub6 also includes a footswitch input. This allows you to connect a pedal, which cuts the subwoofer's output and deactivates the high-pass filters on the outputs feeding the monitors.
