Delphos® II Microphone: Premium Studio Condenser
The Delphos® II is a premium studio condenser microphone offering a natural frequency response, very high sensitivity, and extremely low self-noise. It features three polar patterns (True Cardioid, Omnidirectional, and Figure-8) along with a 10dB attenuation switch.

The Delphos® II is an upgraded version of the original Delphos, which helped establish Roswell as a source for uncompromising studio microphones—devices that routinely compete with market-leading models costing three times as much or more.

This microphone uses a highly optimized transformerless circuit, providing pristine signal quality. The circuit boards are manufactured in the United States, using the finest components available, including low-noise NOS transistors and custom-made capacitors.

Two switches on the front of the mic control the polar pattern and attenuation. The "True Cardioid" mode enhances sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio by removing the rear diaphragm from the capsule circuit.

Each Delphos® II is hand-tuned, sealed, and extensively tested after manufacturing in California to ensure optimal performance.

The microphone is finished with a multi-stage enamel coating in a metallic dark blue color. The Roswell logo plate is embossed brass.

The Cutaway™ Shockmount allows the microphone to be easily positioned close to a vocalist or instrument without mounting hardware getting in the way, enabling you to take full advantage of the microphone's natural proximity effect.
