Roswell Mini K67x

The Mini K67x expands the promise of "sonic diversity" by introducing a new sound into the Mini K product line. The capsule achieves a balance between neutrality and warmth, with tight low-end and an open top end. The circuit enhances the source with harmonic saturation. The microphone retains the simplicity of "point and shoot" associated with the Mini K series.

The name "K67x" refers to both the design of the capsule and the circuit topology. The capsule is based on the K67, though we have constructed and tuned it with some patented tricks to create a sound distinct from any other K67 capsule. The "x" in the model name refers to the transformer-coupled circuit, giving the microphone its characteristic harmonic saturation.

This combination introduces a new color into the Mini K product line. The microphone is not overtly colored like the Mini K47 nor is it as flat and neutral as the Mini K87. The sonic inspiration for this model was a 1960s tube microphone, which offered a broad frequency response and rich harmonics. We retained those characteristics in this incarnation.

Each Roswell microphone undergoes a 24-hour "burn-in" period in our patented conditioning fixture, followed by thorough testing before shipping: polarity, noise, frequency response, sensitivity, and more. An acoustic sweep test is performed, and each microphone is listened to several times before leaving our facilities.

The Mini K67x features a durable gray metallic paint finish. Each microphone is shipped with the exclusive Cutaway™ shockmount, a Roswell-branded microfiber mic sock, and an enhanced carrying case.
